Hi Kishor Yes, there are scholarship schemes for B.Tech students. Institutes set the criteria for giving scholarships to their students. One can avail the scholarships if the person fits the criteria. The criteria for scholarship are not the same and are different for all the colleges. So you can see the criteria of scholarship in the college that you are applying. But in general, there are provisions of scholarship for toppers, for economically week students or the ones belonging to SC/ST and OBC category. For doing B.Tech with the money you need determination and hard work to clear the exam.

There are a whole lot of options or specializations that you can opt for like computer science, mechanical, electrical, electronics and communication, chemical, civil, aeronautical, petroleum, textile and fibre science, biotechnology, marine, automobile, industrial, instrumentation, metallurgic, production etc… you can choose the area of specialization depending on the interest you have in. In the first year of your engineering you will have to study the different fields
