If you are interested to go for research in pharmaceutical field, you have to pursue bachelors and masters in Pharmacy or related fields like Chemistry and to join for PhD in reputed institutes in India like Jamia hamdard, Lovely Professional University, DY Patil university etc. You can do research on pharmacy related field while pursuing PhD. You can continue your research and can be a scientist in Pharmacy field by joining in pharmaceutical companies or government institutes after your PhD.

You can appear for competitive exams based on your qualification. Better options for  higher studies are MSc in basic sciences and also in allied sciences. Hi Sourav.. You can go for B.Sc Agriculture course without any merit list and entrance exam. But the quality of the education also will be compromised there. So, it will be better to choose institutes admitting students on the basis of their 12th score or by appearing in the eligibility test conducted by universities. Hello Shring,   That is like a choice between fields that have a little similiarity between them. The similiarity is basically Research. They are all mostly research oriented jobs. Though there are office related jobs too.   But if I have to consider future study options especially if I wish to deviate, then I would prefer Food technology. Food technology is a field whereby you would learn the art of preservation, packaging, nutrition content, marketing etc of the food product.
