Hello, Thanks for Asking..!! It depends on your interest. whether you want to go for a Job (government or private) or pursue further studies. There are many career opportunities available for Physics Students. You have good scope to work in you have to full scope of going into ISRO, CSIR & DRDO Labs. But You have to pursue further studies for that. You can pursue M.Sc. - Phd from IIT or any other university. & then go for Research Career. & If you are not interested in further Studies then try to get a job by Banking Exams or SSC CGL, civil services. It appears that you chose Science stream just based on the 10th percentage thinking that you can be a science student and do engineering, medicine, etc. You did not at all think once more whether you really liked science subjects. Dear Aspirant, Which exact course are you under going and at which level? Is it 12th or BSc? There is no need to worry about compartment in Physics. The important thing for you should be what was that reason for having the compartment? What was the reason for compartment in physics? The education needed for water resource development is a degree in environmental science, geology or any other related field.  There is scope for Msc Physics depending on what kind of job you are looking for. If you prefer teaching then you can take a masters in education or write the NET. If you are innovative you can try one of the IISC to do a research.
