Banking Sector is the fastest growing sector in the country. The mandate policies of the Government like Rural Banking etc. have given a roo for the Banks to operated in the rural areas and also have given to the banks business expansion and needs to have a Human Resource for various positions like Clerk,PO,Law officer,IT Officer etc.Indian Banking sector is one of the strongest sector and have been expanding rapidly.
In order to make a career in the Banking sector one can make a career either in the Private or Public Banking Sector.
To make a career as a Bank PO Officer one needs to meet some of the eligibility criteria to appear for the Bank PO Exam. Candidate who desire to make a career in the SBI Bank they need to give an SBI PO Exam whereas for the rest of the government banks i.e 21 banks a different exam is conducted by the IBPS called as IBPS PO exam.
The eligibility criteria for both the exams is as follows-
1. A Person should have completed a Graduation Degree from any stream except Fine arts from a recognised university.
2.Age- 20 to 30 Years; 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC and 10 years for disabled person.
3.Should be an Indian.
As you have scored 65% in your graduation ,so percentage is not the criteria you need to have a Graduation Degree. If you have cleared your backlog you get eligible to appear for the Bank PO exams.
