Dear Career Aspirant

I am very glad to see you approach CareerGuide.com for seeking guidance and clarifications for your career development. Let me assure that you have selected the right platform to get advice from.
I think I can guide you considering my more than 10 years of experience in counselling and industry. I appreciate your unique and interesting query.

Frankly an MBA would NOT help you in editorial jobs. Editorial jobs are purely technical and creative. There is actually no element of management involved directly. People management is definitely there, but that can be earned through experience. A full fledged MBA may be useful if you wish to become a niche area Editor may be for example of Finance, Law, Economics, etc.

An Editor needs to be the most aware person but not a master of the subject.

Please do get back to me in case you are still wanting to ask some thing or require any more clarification or guidance. I will be very glad to help you out and see you become successful in your career.

Best wishes,

Dr. Anand Wadadekar
