Dear student,

Graduate in non medical science means
Non- medical includes Engineering, Computer science and commerce and I am not sure exactly which group you are mentioning about. However I assume that you have not studied Biology at HSC level and therefore I can explain to you in broad terms on the study and career routes for each of the three subjects mentioned in here.First lets start with Engineering.

Graduate in non medical science means engineering: (except Biology)
As you should have studied other subjects except medical oriented Biology, Botany and Zoology, you can study Engineering degree in other streams. However to study an engineering discipline at college level, three subjects Maths, Physics and Chemistry are mandatory to have studied at until 12th level. Of all the three Maths is the most important subject to study Engineering. No colleges in India accept students who have not studied maths, though chemistry and physics might be an excuse at times. If you qualify this maths, then you can study BE/ BTech in Electrical and electronics, Mechanical, Civil engineering, Architecture, Chemical engineering, Mechatronics, Environmental engineering, Automobile engineering, Aeronautical engineering, Aerospace engineering, Production engineering and manufacturing engineering.

If you havent studied Maths until 12th level, then you are eligible to study BSc Electronics, Electricals and Environmental science degree.
Computer science:
If you have studied Maths and Computer science until 12th level, then you are qualified to study an engineering discipline in computer science. Accordingly you can study BE/ BTech Computer science and Information technology courses.

If you havent studied Maths at HSC level, then you are eligible to study BSc Computer science, Bachelor of computer applications BCA, and BSc Information technology.

Commerce and Economics:
If you have studied commerce and Economics as part of your HSC level then you may be eligible to study the following courses. BA Economics, BCom Bachelor of commerce, BBA Bachelor of business administration and BBM Bachelor of business management degree.

Students choosing to do commerce may also wish to specialise in accounts, finance, business, and banking. Accordingly you can also choose your professional route as an Auditor if you study chartered accountancy, Financial planner or analyst if you study CFA Chartered financial analyst and MBA for business administration.

Other possible subjects you can study:
Irrelevant to your school subject background, you can study the following courses
BSc Interior designing, BA English, English literature, national languages, foreign languages, Sociology, Social work, Fashion designing, BSc Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental science, Mass communications, Media, Journalism and visual communications.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
