The GUJCET test is administered by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). Gujarat’s undergraduate engineering and pharmacy programs both require this test for admission.
English, Hindi, and Gujarati are the three languages used in the pen-and-paper GUJCET exam. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics make up the three portions of the test. There are 100 multiple-choice questions in each segment. The exam lasts for a total of three hours.
Registration
Submitting online applications for GUJCET 2022 is not a complex process. Candidates can refer to the simple steps provided below to apply online.
- Step 1: On the homepage of the website gujcet.gseb.org, click on the link for “New User Registration”.
- Step 2: Now the registration form opens and candidates must fill up the form by providing the correct information only.
- Step 3: Generate the Login ID and password by completing the registration process.
- Step 4: Click on the “Login” option on the home page and log in with the credentials generated.
- Step 5: At this step, complete the payment of the application fee of Rs 300. It can be paid through SBI Epay System using a credit/debit card or internet banking.
- Step 6: Fill up the application form correctly and upload the necessary scanned document images
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the GUJCET 2024 exam are as follows:
- Nationality: Indian citizen
- Domicile: Domiciled in Gujarat
- Educational qualification: Passed Class 12 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Relaxation in eligibility criteria
- Candidates from the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks required to pass the Class 12 exam.
- Candidates with disabilities (PWDs) are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks required to pass the Class 12 exam and are also eligible for additional time during the GUJCET exam.
