The Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (KTET) is a state-level examination administered by the Commissioner for Government Examinations. It is conducted twice a year for the candidates wishing to start their career in the teaching field at Primary, Upper primary government schools and High-school levels.

The Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test is taken as per the guidelines set by the State Council Of Educational Research and Training [SCERT], arranged by Pariksha Bhavan. This exam is conducted conforming to the rules and regulations by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)

Introduction

The Kerala State Government administers the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET), a state-level teacher eligibility test, to determine candidates’ suitability for employment as instructors at institutions connected to the Kerala State Education Board.

There are four categories for the KTET:

Classification I: Lower Primary (Grades 1-5)
Upper Primary (Classes 6-8) in Category II
High school (Classes 9–12), Category III
Special Education (Classes 1–12) in Category IV

The official notification for KTET 2022 has already released in February 08, 2022. The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET 2022) will be held for the recruitment of teachers in Upper Primary, Lower Primary, and High School in Kerala.

The Kerala TET 2022 Exam will take place in May. Those who are interested in applying for Kerala TET 2022 Notification can do so by filling out the Kerala TET Application Form online before the deadline

Registration

To register for the KTET March 2023 exam, candidates need to follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official KTET website and create an account using a valid email address.
  2. Once you have created an account, log in and click on the “Apply for KTET” button.
  3. Select the category and paper for which you wish to apply.
  4. Fill out the online application form with your personal details, educational background, contact information, and other relevant information.
  5. Upload a scanned copy of your recent passport-sized photograph and signature.
  6. Pay the application fee using a credit/debit card or net banking.
  7. Once you have completed all of the steps above, your KTET registration will be complete

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the KTET March 2023 exam vary depending on the category and paper for which a candidate wishes to apply. However, there are some general eligibility criteria that all candidates must meet:

  • Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.
  • Age: There is no age limit for the KTET exam.

Exam Pattern

The Exam Pattern of KTET 2022 are as follows:

  • All the questions will be Multiple choice questions.
  • The examination will be in Offline – pen and paper mode
  • 1 mark will be assigned for every right answer.
  • The exam does not have a negative marking scheme.
  • Total 150 questions are there.
  • The time duration of the examination is two and a half hours.
  • For different categories, different papers are designed.

The MHT CET, or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, is a state-level entrance test conducted for admission to engineering and pharmacy programs at various colleges throughout Maharashtra.

To be eligible to take the MHT CET, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • They must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
  • They must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their HSC examination.

The MHT CET is a computer-based test (CBT) and consists of three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section has 60 questions, and the total duration of the exam is 360 minutes.
