Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is known by the initials MSBSHSE. It is an independent organization that was set up in 1965 to control and oversee secondary and upper secondary education in the Indian state of Maharashtra. There are nine divisional boards for the MSBSHSE, and they are situated in the cities of Ratnagiri, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nashik, Kolhapur, and Amravati. The SSC and HSC examinations are administered in each of these divisional boards’ home areas.
With more than 21,000 schools (SSC) and 7,000 (HSC) Higher Sec. Schools / Jr. colleges associated with it, MSBSHSE is one of the major educational bodies in India. Over 17 lakh students take the SSC test each year, and over 14 lakh take the HSC exam, all of which are administered by MSBSHSE.
