The IIHMR University located in Jaipur has been awarded the Top Innovative and Skills Related Initiatives (College) award by Career Guide. The award was accepted by the President, Dr. Prahlad Rai Sodhani on behalf of the University. Dr. Sodhani in his acceptance speech on behalf of the school expressed his pleasure and gratitude for receiving the award.
Prof. P.R. Sodhani is a health economist and public health specialist. He obtained his PhD in Economics with a focus on Health Economics. After completing his doctoral work, he earned a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA. Prof. Sodhani has been working in health systems, health economics, and health financing and extensively involved in teaching, training, research, and consultancy.

IIHMR University ranked 65th in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) India Ranking 2020 announced by MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development), Government of India. In the same rankings in 2019, the university ranked 72nd. IIHMR University, Jaipur was the only private management Institute from Rajasthan to feature in The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) India Ranking 2020.
