Roles & Responsibilities

Determine the workload for the shift in aeroplane catering, and assign it to his crew.
Ensure that catering orders are distributed to the different divisions and sub-sections for action.
Oversees the supply provisioning for the aircraft.
Communicate with other Departments (Ground Handling, Traffic, Ramp, etc.) about issues that will impair the performance of the station as a whole (aircraft delays, etc.)
Keep an eye on the loading bay pre-set and pre-flight checks and the equipment packing tray layup.
Examine and keep track of the quantity, quality, and presentation of the food products that were produced and received.
Ensure that the washroom runs efficiently and that hygienic standard are upheld.
Arrange for food uplifts and equipment on Adhoc, VIP-CIP flights with airline staff.
Assure appropriate upkeep of all corporate property, including automobiles, radios, thermometers, communication devices, and other equipment.
Make sure to perform vehicle servicing, pest control, and washing.
Send section head daily shift reports.

National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) is a national level hotel management entrance exam which offers admission to qualifying candidates on basis of their rank and preference of institute to 51 hotel management institutes located at different states.
NCHMCT JEE scores are valid for 21 Central Institutes, 14 State Government Institutes and 15 private institutes of Hotel Management.
NCHMCT JEE will be conducted jointly with National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology and Indira Gandhi National Open University.
