Overview

Cabin crew make decisions based on orders supplied by pilots or co-pilots outside the cockpit.
On a flight, they are also in responsibility of the passengers’ safety and comfort, and they update the passengers as needed.
While female flight attendants are known as hostesses, male flight attendants are referred to as hosts.
The selection of cabin crew must follow specific guidelines established by aviation organizations, and they must also abide by guidelines established by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation.
You'll ensure the comfort and safety of the passengers as a member of the cabin crew by giving them outstanding customer service during the journey. Along with providing travellers with beverages and meals, you'll also sell them gifts and duty-free goods.
You'll receive training to handle security and emergency situations, which may involve providing first aid to passengers, as part of your work.
Additionally, it is your responsibility to guarantee that there are enough supplies on board and that all emergency equipment is operational before takeoff. You'll then participate in a safety demonstration to ensure that passengers are aware of the equipment's usage and safety protocols.

Roles & Responsibilities

Always act with professionalism, promptness, and courtesy.
Attend a pre-flight briefing when your working roles for the forthcoming trip will be assigned to you. The number of infants on board, the flight’s schedule, and any special needs passengers, such as diabetics or wheelchair users, are all disclosed to the crew.
Perform pre-flight tasks like making sure the aircraft is clean and orderly, that the information in the seat pockets is current, and that all food, drink, and stock are on board. Pre-flight tasks also include checking the safety equipment and performing security checks.
Welcome guests, show them to their seats, tell them of safety precautions, and make sure all hand luggage is safely tucked away
Before takeoff, make sure all seat belts and galleys are fastened. During the flight, make announcements on the pilot’s behalf and respond to passengers’ inquiries.
Sell duty-free goods (which might contribute to individual commission goals) and inform travellers of any allowance limits that may be in place at their destination.
In case of emergency, reassure passengers and make sure they adhere to safety protocols.
To ensure the safety and comfort of everyone on the flight, deal with any difficult or intoxicated passengers (who may be acting rudely or antisocially) firmly but politely.
Provide first aid when necessary
At the conclusion of a flight, make sure passengers safely leave and check that there are no stowaways, suspicious goods, or bags left in the overhead bins.
Also, finish documentation, including preparing a flight report.
