Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) is a public university located in Amritsar, Punjab, India. It was established in 1969 by the Government of Punjab to commemorate the 500th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism.

GNDU is a residential university with a sprawling campus of over 500 acres. It has 13 faculties, 89 departments, and 20 constituent and affiliated colleges. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various disciplines.
