Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences is a public university located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. It was established in 1996 by the government of Karnataka to regulate and promote higher education in health sciences throughout the state.The university offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in health sciences. It is also home to a number of research institutes and centers.RGUHS is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A++ grade.
The university is ranked 151 out of 200 universities in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).

  • BDS: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • B.Pharm: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
  • B.Optom: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • B.A.S.L.P: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

Postgraduate courses:

  • M.D.: Passed MBBS from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • M.S.: Passed MBBS from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • M.Pharm: Passed B.Pharm from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
  • M.Optom: Passed B.Optom from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
  • M.P.H.: Passed any graduate degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • M.A.S.L.P: Passed B.A.S.L.P from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
