2023 DTU ( Delhi College of Engineering) B.Tech Admission
The full-time B.Tech programme at Delhi Technological University (DTU) has 15 specialities. The minimal requirement for admission is 10+2 (PCM) with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 60% from an accredited board of education. However, JEE Main results and joint admission counselling come into play for ultimate admission (JAC).
The best qualified candidates may also apply for B.Tech. lateral entry admissions at the university. - For candidates who fall into the SC/ST or OBC categories, 10% of the marks are loosened, respectively.
- Additionally, PwD candidates receive a 10% score reduction, and candidates in the Defense category receive a 5% score reduction.

- Admission for B.Tech (Evening) is given in one of two categories, namely Direct or Sponsored.
- For the B.Tech (Evening) programme, the properly completed application form must be delivered to the Deputy Coordinator (Admin), DTU, together with the application fee of INR 1000 in the form of a DD drawn in Delhi Technological University’s Registrar, payable at Delhi.
- Candidates who have successfully completed their qualifying examination from a school in Delhi or the NCT of Delhi are eligible for 85% of the available seats.
- For applicants from schools outside of Delhi, 15% of seats are set aside.
- For Kashmiri Migrants (KM) and Single Girl Children (SG) living in the NCT of Delhi, one seat in each course is set aside for them.
- State/Central Board Toppers are reserved one seat above the authorised intake.

East Delhi is home to Delhi Technological University’s new campus, University School of Management & Entrepreneurship (USME). At the UG level, it provides BBA and BA (Honors) Economics. A minimum of 50% in the 10+2 is required to be eligible for these courses. Based on the combined scores of the top 4 subjects, including English, a merit list will be prepared.
The grades earned In the 10+2 are used to determine admission.
DTU also offers the B.Des. degree, which is a four-year programme with a 60-student intake.
