JEE Mains will be held twice a year so candidates has to resister separately for January and April examination.so a candidate can appear two times each year for consecutive three years. After qualifying JEE Mains with high score, the candidate will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced which will be conducted in online mode for Mathematics and Aptitude, and in offline more for drawing to test sketching skills.
JEE Main 2023 Number of Attempts
NTA JEE main 2023 exam will be conducted in two sessions. Students can appear in three consecutive years from the years from the year of passing their class 12th.

JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria
Age limit
The JEE main 2023 criteria have been released by NTA (National Testing Agency). Refer to the below -Provided details to get the details about JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria-
- The candidates who are born on after October 1,1998 will be eligible for JEE main 2023
- Sc/ST and PWD candidates are eligible for age relaxation of 5years but they must be born on or after October 1st ,1993.
- 10th certificates date birth will be considered.
Academic qualification
- The students must pass 12th exam from recognized board for appear in JEE Main exam.
- The student who fails in their board exam in year 2020 are not eligible for exam again, even if they clear it later.
- Physics, Chemistry and Maths must be required for qualifying exam.
JEE main 2023 Exam Pattern
The JEE Main 2023 exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for students aspiring to pursue engineering courses, while Paper 2 is for students interested in architecture or planning programs.
Both papers are computer-based tests (CBT) with a duration of 3 hours. Paper 1 includes sections on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with 25 questions in each section for a total of 75 questions.
