The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination popularly known as VITEE is an entrance exam for students aspiring to pursue their undergraduate studies in any of the specifications. This exam is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore Campus. This exam is for the students of the Science stream students who wish to pursue B.Tech/B.E/BSc degrees in this college and for a particular discipline.
The Vellore Institute of Technology was established by Dr G.Vishwanathan who was a former Parliamentarian in the Tamil Nadu Government. The main motive behind the establishment of this institute was to have a prominent institute in South India that will be responsible for creating awareness about the increasing development in the areas such as Science and Technology. The institute was established in the city of Vellore close to the major city Chennai in a very lush green campus.

The Time Duration of this exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The Exam Fee for VITEEE is 1150/- when registering on Web Browser and 1050/- when registering on the Mobile App of VITEEE. In total there are 165 questions to be answered. The marking scheme for this exam is +1 and -0. As shown above and we conclude here that this exam has no negative marking for this exam which gives VITEEE an upper hand from JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, and BITSAT also.
The syllabus for Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry for this examination is the same as JEE Mains Examination. The Biology Syllabus is the same as that of the NEET Exam and the Logical Reasoning and Mental Aptitude may come randomly. The VIT is a premier institute that gives admission to the students based on their Exam Score and Counseling Round only. After you qualify for this exam you will have the freedom to choose your Engineering Discipline and pay your fees. The fees for the First Year Engineering for any discipline varies from 173,500/- to 195,000/- and a compulsory deposit of 3600/-.
