VIT conducts an exam that is VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination) for admissions in engineering courses. VIT also has invited applications for four-year B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) honors in the Agriculture program. Students need a minimum of 70% from CBSC or ISC board in the 12th or qualification in two-year University Examination from any recognized board. A student should have physics, chemistry, agriculture, mathematics, or biology with botany or zoology. Students who are passed or waiting for exam results can also apply for it. This online exam pattern has 5 questions from English, 10 aptitude questions, 40 questions from mathematics or biology, and 35 questions from physics and chemistry. Course pattern

Specialization in branches
There is a little difference between courses and their specialization. If you do computer science engineering, it has computer core topics. And in Computer Science and Engineering specialization courses, the study is focused on that chosen specialized subject with core computer topics. For example, in the Mechanical branch, students can get Mechatronics and Automation. Computer science students can get Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Cyber Security and Forensics, BlockChain Technology which is new, Robotics, IoT, etc. In the same way, another branch has specialization courses too.

Study in Foreign from VIT
VIT gives you an opportunity by which you can directly go to a foreign university and study there. There are two types of programs the first one in which you can study for two years and the second program for final year students in which is for one semester.
