UIDAI Application Form 2023 for various posts – Deputy Director, Deputy Director, Technical Director etc will close on 11th September  2023. UIDAI Application Form 2023 is available at uidai.gov.in. To apply for the position, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
Applicants must not be over 56 years of age at the time of closing the application form. They should note that the application should be sent to the Director (HR), Bengaluru, Online Individuals Authority of India (UIDAI).

How to Apply for the UIDAI 2023 Exam?

Below is the step by step application process for UIDAI Exam 2023:

Step 1: Candidates must first visit the official website of UIDAI NSEIT uidai.nseitexams.com

Step 2: On the home page of the website, click on “Create New User” and download the “Aadhar e-KYC XML File” and “Share Code” obtained from the official Aadhar website. Then click the “Extract” button.

Step 3: Applicants must select the exam level that is the desired certification role. i.e. Operator/Supervisor or Child Enrollment Lite Client Operator.

Step 4: Candidates have to select Educational Qualification, Exam List, Registrar Office Code, Exam Language, Personal Email Address, Desired Exam Center and then submit the UIDAI Application Form. The applicant must enter all the details correctly as there is no correction window.

Step 5: Pay the application fee and complete the application process. Candidates can take a print out of the completed application form. Application fee is shown below.

Before the 2023 UIDAI exam registration process, candidates must ensure that they have all the necessary documents for the post of Aadhaar Operator / Supervisor / CELC Operator. Applicant must have personal mobile number registered in Aadhaar for one time password verification. Candidate should have updated their latest color photo in Aadhaar within last 3 months for verification on the exam date. Applicants must ensure that their Aadhaar number is not blacklisted by UIDAI or any enrollment agency. Applicant must be 18 years of age as per date of birth mentioned in Aadhaar card The applicant must have the necessary training documents for the chosen certification role. Applicant must have latest copy of e-Aadhaar and latest photograph uploaded from UIDAI portal after 01.03.2023. Applicant must have a valid debit card, credit card or internet banking to make UIDAI online test/retest payment

About UIDAI Exam

  1. The UIDAI exam is conducted to certify individuals under the Unique Identification Authority of India (under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology – meitY). The Government of India has required the National Exchange of Information and Technology (NSEIT) to conduct verification of issuance of certificates under UIDAI for various posts such as inspectors, operators and CELC operators. This exam is popularly known as Aadhar exam.

UIDAI 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to pursue their career as Operator/Supervisor/CELC Operator must ensure that they meet the minimum educational qualification and age limit requirements prescribed by UIDAI. The minimum requirements to apply for UIDAI aadhaar verification exam 2023 are discussed below.

Educational qualification:
The minimum qualification for the post of Operator/Inspector/CELC Operator is that the candidate must have 12th standard from a recognized board in India.


Note. Aanganwadi/Asha workers with at least 10th qualification are eligible for CELC operator only. UIDAI 2023 Eligibility must be strictly followed otherwise candidate’s candidature will be cancelled. Age limit

Other requirements:
Applicants must have an Aadhaar registered mobile number. UIDAI should not shortlist the applicant. Latest copy of e-Aadhaar should be uploaded after 1st January 2019. It should have Aadhaar Paperless Offline e-KYC file and share code.

UIDAI 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates interested in writing the UIDAI aadhaar exam should have a clear understanding of the new exam pattern for Supervisor/Operator/CELC Operator post. Unique Identification Authority of India introduced new exam structure/pattern on 24th January 2019.


Applicants must qualify at least one point for each position. Detailed exam pattern of UIDAI aadhaar 2023 is discussed below.


UIDAI Exam for User/Administrator


If one of the candidates gets at least 77 points, he is qualified as a tutor. If any candidate scores 61-76 then he is eligible to become an operator. Candidates with a score of less than 61 points will be considered unsuccessful.


The total duration of the exam is 110 minutes. This exam has a total of 9 modules.

Exam Syllabus

The UIDAI Exam Syllabus has been prescribed by the concerned authority on its official website. The candidates must visit the website of UIDAI to download the UIDAI Exam Syllabus to give this paper more confidently. The UIDAI Exam Syllabus is prepared differently for different posts. It will provide the right direction to the candidates in terms of their preparation for this UIDAI Exam. 

For 2 different positions i.e. Child Enrolment Lite Client Operator and Operator/Supervisor, there are different modules that the candidates must go through for appearing in the UIDAI Exam. The exam questions will be totally based on the modules given in the syllabus.

Exam Guidelines

  1. For scoring good marks, the candidate should go through the Question Bank given by UIDAI on their website https://uidai.gov.in/aadhaar-eco-system/training-testing-certification-ecosystem.html. 
  2. The candidate/freelancer must get empanelled with any Active Enrolment Agency to work after obtaining the Certification as the UIDAI or NSEiT does not engage any Certified Operator/Supervisor directly.
  3. Candidates must possess a valid Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking Facility for paying the Online Test or Retest Fee. 
  4. Candidates have to select the “Level of Exam-Exam Role” at the time of registration. They can either select “Operator Supervisor” or “Operator Child Enrolment Lite Client”.
  5. Candidates who will get certified as “Child Enrolment Lite Client Operator” will be able to work only on CELC Application Software and they cannot do any other type of Enrolment i.e. on ECMP as Operator/Supervisor.

Definition of an Operator as laid by UIDAI Exam:

An Operator is a person who is employed by a registered Enrolment Agency to run the Enrolment at the Enrolment stations.

For working as an Operator, the candidate needs to fulfill the below-mentioned Eligibility Criteria:

  1. The candidate must have acquired the age of 18 years.
  2. The candidate must have completed Class 12th and preference will be given to graduates.
  3. The candidate must have enrolled for Aadhaar Card and his/her Aadhaar Number should have been generated using UIDAI Portal.
  4. The candidate must have the basic knowledge of working on computers and he/she must be comfortable with local language keyboard and transliteration.
  5. The person must have obtained the “Operator Certificate” from the NSEiT which is the Testing and Certification Agency authorized by UIDAI.

The UIDAI enrols residents of all ages, including infants. However, biometric information is not collected for children under the age of 5 years. For children under 5 years of age, their Aadhaar is linked to one of their parents or guardians.
 
UIDAI was created to issue Unique Identification numbers (UID), named as “Aadhaar”, to all residents of India. The UID had to be (a) robust enough to eliminate duplicate and fake identities, and (b) verifiable and authenticable in an easy, cost-effective way.
 
On 23 June Nandan Nilekani, the co-founder of Infosys, was appointed by the then-government, UPA, to head the project. He was given the newly created position of Chairman of the UIDAI, which was equivalent in rank to a Cabinet minister. In April 2010 the logo and the brand name Aadhaar was launched by Nilekani.
