For Head Constable (Radio Operator) :

BSF Exam Pattern 2023 HC - RO/RM Details

The exam pattern for the Head Constable (Radio Operator/Radio Mechanic) exam conducted by the Border Security Force (BSF) is as follows:

    • Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted offline (pen and paper-based).
    • Type of Exam: The exam will be objective type with multiple choice questions (MCQs).
    • Duration: The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
    • Total Marks: The exam will be of 200 marks.
    • Sections: The question paper will consist of 2 parts: Part-I and Part-II.
    • Part-I: This part will consist of questions from the following subjects:

      Physics (for both RO and RM)

      Basic Knowledge of Computer (for RO only)
      Part-I will be of 100 marks.

Part-II: This part will consist of questions from the following subjects:

Radio Operation (for RO only)
Radio Mechanic (for RM only)

Part-II will be of 100 marks.
Negative Marking: There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
