The GATE Examination is considered the most premier examination in the whole country. Due to the importance of this exam throughout the country, the exam has been made compulsory by numerous colleges in the country to get quality students pursuing the graduate course in any particular discipline from the particular college. The GATE Examination is conducted in the two stages wherein the first stage is for all colleges and the second stage which is the Interview stage is mainly designed for the IIT and NIT wherein they do the counseling of the students to choose the right engineering branch and also they choose the right candidate who will take admission in the respective IIT’s. The GATE Exam is conducted by the principal IIT’s on a rotation basis. The GATE Exam was started in the year 1983.

The GATE Exam is based on the principles such as Recall, Comprehension, Synthesis, and Application. This exam is a 3hour exam based on the online mode and is conducted in the English Language. This exam is conducted usually in February every year. The GATE Exam is considered as one of the toughest engineering entrance examinations due to factors like Negative Marking, Numerical Questions, Numerical Aptitude Questions, and various other factors. Besides these things, it also happens sometimes that the GATE Exam becomes tough due to the Unavailability of proper Resources.
