CUET 2023 Exam Dates have been announced. It will provide admission into various UG & PG courses in all the Central Universities (CU’s). The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform & equal opportunities to all candidates across the country and also from rural & remote areas . The examination will be organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the Ministry of Education (MoE). CUET exam for UG & PG level courses will be held separately. It will be a mandatory test for admission into various UG courses at central universities, BHU, JNU, Delhi University, etc. Candidates must go through following details such as exam dates, application form, eligibility norms etc. regarding CUET 2023.
Latest Notification
CUET 2023 is going to be conducted on May 21 – 31, 2023 and CUET 2023 Registration for that is likely to commence by February 2023. CUET 2023 Application Form is going to be available on the official CUET 2023 website – cuet.samarth.ac.in.
- Admission to undergraduate courses in Central Universities will be solely based on CUET 2023 Scores, hence class 12th scores will not carry any weightage.
- International students are exempted from CUET 2023, their admissions will be carried out on the existing supernumerary basis.
- For Post Graduation programs, Universities are flexible to use the CUET 2023 scores as of now.
Registration
How to Fill CUET Application Form 2023?
Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps to fill out CUET Application Form 2023:
Step 1: Visit the official website of CUET cuet.samarth.ac.in to fill CUET Application Form 2023. Click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab to register for the program.
Step 2: After clicking, candidates will be able to see three program options- UG, PG, and RP. Click on the link you wish to apply for.
Step 3: Complete the registration process by entering details like the program applied for, name, valid e-mail-id, mobile number, date of birth, and verification code displayed on the screen.
Step 4: Once all details are submitted, the application number and password are generated and sent to the candidate’s registered email address and mobile number.
Step 5: Use the application number and password to log in and fill up CUET Application Form by entering the log-in details like personal, academic qualification,s and communication address.
Step 6: Candidates need to upload scanned images of a recent passport-sized photograph and signature in the prescribed format and dimensions.
Step 7: Select the examination centers in order of preference, and select and enter the exam centers.
Step 8: On successful online CUET 2023 application submission with payment of fees through an automated e-mail and SMS is sent to the candidate’s registered e-mail ID and mobile number.
Syllabus
CUET UG 2023 Syllabus for different sections of the question paper varies depending on the language and the domain subject opted for by the examinee. The detailed subject-wise syllabus is available at the official CUET 2023 website- cuet.samarth.ac.in.
The syllabus for domain-specific subjects will be declared by the NTA along with the official notification of CUET 2023 in due time. However, the syllabus seldom changes from one year to the next. Thus, students can refer to CUET 2022 subject-wise syllabus to jump-start their CUET 2023 preparation. Its pdf file can be downloaded from the official CUET NTA website. The syllabus is available in both English and Hindi.
Eligibility Criteria
- No age limit exists for CUET 2023.
- Candidates who passed the class 12th/equivalent examination are eligible to appear for CUET UG 2023.
- Candidates who are going to complete the 12th/equivalent examination in 2023 are eligible to appear for CUET UG 2023.
- Candidates must satisfy any age requirements of the university(es) to which they apply for admission.
- Specific points that candidates should remember while applying to various universities:
- For admission through CUET 2023, the respective university’s policies on quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, and preferences are applicable.
- Candidates should check the university’s website before applying because each university’s admission criteria may differ.
- Applicants should check the university’s eligibility requirements before applying.
- Even if a candidate passes the Entrance Test or meets the minimum score requirement, that does not guarantee admission to the Program at the University to which he or she has applied.

Reservation
As CUET is for admissions to UG courses at the Central Universities, each university follows the norms set by the Government of India. Candidates belonging to different categories are entitled to reservations of seats for CUET 2023 admissions in different courses and participating central universities. Counselling
CUET 2023 Counselling is strictly based on the merit list that is prepared as per marks in the entrance examination. The counseling process includes the score obtained in written tests and interviews that will carry a weight of 60% and 40% respectively. Candidates, who qualify for NET/JRF/SLET/Teacher Fellowship will be exempted from the written test. For them, the interview will carry 100% weight. Universities from the state: Central University Common Entrance Test is commonly referred to as CUET. The Universities of Tamil Nadu, Jammu, Jharkhand, Kashmir, Haryana, Kerala, Punjab, and Rajasthan jointly conduct this entrance exam, available for students across India. The test is for the candidates willing to gain admission into the Graduate-level, PG Level, and Ph.D. level courses at the above-mentioned University.
