The JEST Exam is a national-level entrance exam for admission to Ph.D. and integrated Ph.D. programs in physics, theoretical computer science, neuroscience, and computational biology at participating institutes in India.

The JEST Exam is open to candidates who have passed the bachelor’s degree in physics, theoretical computer science, neuroscience, or computational biology with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates must also have completed at least two years of study in a master’s degree program in a relevant field.
