JEE Main 2024 is divided into three papers: Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech, Paper 2A for B.Arch, and Paper 2B for B.Planning. Except for the Drawing component of the JEE Main B.Arch test, the exam is computer-based and administered online.

JEE Main 2024 Eligibility Criteria
As per JEE Main 2024 eligibility criteria, applicants must have obtained at least 75% (65% for SC/ST candidates) in their respective board exams to qualify for admission to IIITs or NITs.
- There is no age limit for JEE Main 2024. However, only the candidates who have passed Class 12th in 2022, 2023 or are appearing in 2024 are eligible irrespective of their age.
- The candidates must have passed the senior secondary (10+2) test with the top 5 grades in 5 courses, including math, physics, and chemistry.
- Candidates for B.E./B.Tech programs must have earned at least five passing grades in their senior secondary exams, with Physics and Mathematics serving as requirements and Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or any other technical vocational topic serving as an option.
- Candidates for B.Arch must successfully complete their senior secondary schooling with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as
- Candidates for the B.Plan should have completed their 12th-level exams with Mathematics as a required subject.
- The candidates must have received at least the passing marks in the exam, even though there may be other requirements regarding the minimum grades attained.
Particulars Specifics Age Restriction There is no upper age limit. Qualification 10+2 or equivalent exams from a recognized board are required. Year of Qualifying Test Candidates who have passed or are about to pass the 10+2 or equivalent examinations in 2022 or 2023. Required Subjects Mathematics is a mandatory subject. Candidates must also have studied Chemistry/Physics/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject.
