The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) is a state-level teacher eligibility test conducted by the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan. It is a mandatory test for candidates who want to be appointed as teachers in government-aided and private schools in Kerala.

Each category of the KTET exam consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Category 2:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant subject from a recognized university with at least 45% marks and two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from a recognized institution.

Category 3:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant subject from a recognized university with at least 45% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from a recognized institution.

Category 4:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university with at least 45% marks and two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from a recognized institution.

Application Process

To apply for the KTET exam, candidates must take after these steps:
