The Maharashtra State Qualification Test (MH SET) may be a state-level examination conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune College (SPPU) on sake of the College Gifts Commission (UGC). Age limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing for the MH SET exam.

Exemptions: The following candidates are exempted from the requirement of having a Master’s degree:

  • Candidates who have obtained a PhD degree in a subject that is covered by the MH SET syllabus.
  • Candidates who have qualified for the National Eligibility Test (NET) or the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination conducted by the UGC.

Please note that the MH SET exam is only valid for applying for Assistant Professor positions in universities and colleges in Maharashtra and Goa.
