NEST 2024 Application Form
Following are the detail about NEST 2024 Application Form with some instructions:
- The NEST 2024 Application Form will release in fourth week of February 2024.
- Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form.
- Applicants must fill the application form with details such as personal, academic, contact details, etc.
- Application form for NEST 2024 will be available through online mode.
- After filling the details, upload the scanned photograph and signature in prescribed size and format.
- The last date to submit the application form will be till third week of May 2024.
- At last, submit the form and take the printout of the application form for future reference.

NEST 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for NEST 2024 is mentioned below:
- Age Criteria: The candidate must born on or after 1st August 2003 to be eligible for exam. For SC/ ST Divangjan candidates age is relaxed by 5 years.
- Qualification: Applicants must qualify 12th/ intermediate or equivalent from any recognized board in year 2022 or 2023.
- Subject: In qualifying exam, candidates must pass with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology to be eligible for exam.
- Marks: The minimum marks candidates must score at least 60% marks (55% marks for reserved category candidates).
- Appearing: Applicants appearing in final year in 2024 will also be eligible to apply for exam.
NEST 2024 Exam Pattern
Candidates must check following exam pattern for NEST 2024 below:
- Exam mode: The exam will be conducted through online (CBT) mode.
- Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes will be allotted to candidates to solve the paper.
- Type of Question: The paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Marks: There will be total 200 marks in the exam.
- Sections: There will be total 4 sections in the exam.
- Marking scheme: 2.5 marks will be given for correct answer and 1 mark will get deducted for an incorrect answer.
