Upsee Exam Application Form
UPSEE is open to both residents of Uttar Pradesh and candidates from other states. The minimum qualifying marks are 45% (40% for the SC/ST category) in (10+2) or equivalent examination

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • For Undergraduate Courses:
    • Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (10+2 level) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
    • Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the qualifying examination.
  • For Postgraduate Courses:
    • Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

Nationality:

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens or hold a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) status.

Age Limit:

There is no upper age limit for the UPSEE Entrance Exam.

Domicile:

  • For candidates seeking admission to government-aided institutions, they must have a domicile of Uttar Pradesh for at least 10 years.

Relaxation in Eligibility Criteria:

  • There is a 5% relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories.
  • There is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum qualifying marks for female candidates.

Additional Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a valid email address and mobile phone number.
  • Candidates must have scanned copies of their educational certificates, passport-sized photograph, and signature.

Syllabus

The syllabus for the UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) can vary depending on the course you are applying for. As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, here is a general overview of the syllabus for some common courses:

  1. B.Tech (Paper 1):
    • Physics: Measurement, Motion in one dimension, Laws of Motion, Work, Power and Energy, Linear Momentum and Collisions, Rotation of a rigid body about a fixed axis, etc.
    • Chemistry: Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, Redox Reactions, Chemical Equilibrium and Kinetics, Acid-Base Concepts, Electrochemistry, etc.
    • Mathematics: Algebra, Probability, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate Geometry, Calculus, Vectors, Dynamics, etc.
  2. B.Tech (Bio-Technology) (Paper 1 or Paper 2):
    • Same as B.Tech but candidates can opt for either Mathematics or Biology.
  3. B.Arch (Paper 3):
    • Mathematics: Algebra, Probability, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate Geometry, Calculus.
    • Aesthetic Sensitivity: Visual perception and composition through the sense of color, texture, harmony, and contrast.
  4. B.Pharm (Paper 1 or Paper 2):
    • Physics, Chemistry: Similar to the B.Tech syllabus.
    • Mathematics/Biology: Based on the chosen subject.
  5. MBA (Paper 9):
    • English Language: Grammar, vocabulary, uncommon words, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, relationship between words and phrases.
    • Numerical Ability: Numerical calculation, arithmetic, simple algebra, geometry, and interpretation of graphs, charts, and tables.
    • Thinking and Decision Making: Creative thinking, unfamiliar relationships, verbal reasoning.
    • General Awareness: Knowledge of current affairs, issues related to trade, industry, economy, sports, culture.
  6. MCA (Paper 10):
    • Mathematics: Modern Algebra, Algebra, Probability, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate Geometry, Calculus.
    • Logical Ability: Deductive reasoning, assertion and reasons, statements and conclusions, puzzles, and data interpretation.
  7. M.Tech (Paper 6):
