Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research is known as IISER. It is a consortium of seven public universities that the Indian government founded in 2006 in an effort to advance multidisciplinary research and offer top-notch fundamental scientific education.
Undergraduate and graduate programmes in the humanities, engineering, and natural sciences are offered by IISERs. A Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) are awarded at the end of the five-year undergraduate programme at IISER.
