Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: UCEED is open to both Indian and foreign nationals.
  • Age Limit: General and OBC-NCL candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1999. For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the birth date limit is October 1, 1994.
  • Educational Qualifications:
    • Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2022 or 2023.
    • Students from the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible to apply.
    • Those from any other stream (Arts or Commerce) must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the 10+2 level.
  • Number of Attempts:
    • A candidate can attempt UCEED for a maximum of two consecutive years.
  • Lateral Entry: There is no lateral entry into the B.Des program through UCEED. Students can only apply for the first year of the course.
  • Foreign Nationals: Foreign nationals, including OCI and PIO cardholders, are eligible to apply under the foreign nationals category.

Part A – Visualization and Spatial Ability
