Admission process
- For 5-year B.A./BBA LL.B (Hons.), admission is done solely on the basis of merit in the LSAT-India exam.
- LSAT-India scores are also acceptable for admission to 3-year BA-Legal Studies, LLB 3-year and LLM 1-year programmes. If you have already registered for LSAT- India, you need not take the JSAT exam.
- As for 3-year B.A. (Hons.) Legal Studies and LL.M. programme, selection is done on the basis of merit in the JSAT-Law 2021 Entrance Exam only.
- Once you have registered for LSAT-India, submit your application to the law school.
- You can use the website to check the status of your application. The payment is updated in 48-72 hours.
Research
JGLS Research Centers seeks to give rise to a global network of minds set on solving leading legal and policy questions in crucial areas, like Global Corporate and Financial Law and Policy; Women Law and Social Change; Penology, Criminal Justice and Police Studies, etc. It has 25 research centres, 500 plus faculty publications with 18 funded projects and more than 30 international conferences organized as of now. Various ministries of the Government of India grant the university funds for capacity building initiatives and research, including the training of senior officers of the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Trade Service, the three branches of the Indian military and other police and paramilitary forces. United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations University (UNU), the Afghanistan Civil Service Institute, and other governmental, intergovernmental and private sector organizations have also contributed to the funding of these research programs.
Scholarships
O.P. Jindal Outstanding Merit Scholarships
This scholarship is based on the score of LSAT—India admission test, alone. The top five LSAT-India test score achievers who have enrolled in the three year LL.B. programme, five year B.A. LL.B. (Hons) or B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons) or B.Com LL.B. (Hons) programme and one year LL.M. programme will be awarded Rs. 1 lakh per year under the O.P. Jindal Outstanding Merit Scholarships program.
Naveen Jindal Young Global Scholarships
One student each from B.A. LL.B. (Hons)/ B.B.A LL.B. (Hons)/ B.Com LL.B. (Hons) programme, three year LL.B and one year LL.M. programme will be nurtured and encouraged through this scholarship. The students are decided on the basis of independent selection process. A grant of one year programme fee will be given to the student of B.A. LL.B. (Hons)/ B.B.A LL.B. (Hons)/ B.Com LL.B. (Hons) and LL.B. programme and for LL.M. programme, 50% of the fee will be awarded to the selected student.
Shallu Jindal Outstanding Women Scholarships
In order to encourage and support women in the field of law, this scholarship gives an award of 50% of one year programme fee will be given to each selected student. Two students from the three year LL.B. programme, two students from the five year B.A. LL.B. (Hons)/ B.B.A LL.B. (Hons)/ B.Com LL.B. (Hons) and two students from the one year LL.M. programme are awarded this scholarship on the basis of an independent selection process.

A dual degree helps you in saving two years of your life to earn two degrees thereby kickstarting your career at an early point. This kind of collaboration allows a student to procure a B.A./B.B.A. LL.B. (5-year) or LL.B. (3-year) degree and J.D.
