XAT Exam Date FAQ
The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a computer-based test that has been conducted by XLRI for over 72 years. It is a national-level entrance exam held once every year in the month of January.
To obtain a 99+ percentile in XAT, a candidate must have a 40+ XAT score. Similarly, for the 95 percentile, he must score 35+, for the 90 percentile – 25+ marks, and for the 85 percentile, the XAT score should be 24+.
Both XAT and CAT are difficult exams but many students find XAT more difficult than the CAT exam due to two sections in the XAT question paper- the Decision-Making section and the Verbal section. The verbal section of the XAT consists of passages longer than that of the CAT exam.
