  • Aggregate marks in Maths & Science in Class 10 should surpass the cut-off: GEN/EWS/OBC: 85%, SC: 70%, ST: 60%, PD: No cut-off.
  • Annual Family Income must be less than INR 2 lakhs.

Test Format:

  • Joint Dakshana Scholarship Test (JDST): Online exam for Class 12 Science students.
  • Navodaya Dakshana Selection Test (NDST): Offline exam for JNV & EMRS students.
  • Both tests consist of 4 sections: Logical Reasoning, Mathematics/Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Each section contains 25 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Duration of each test is 3 hours.
