Banaras Hindu University, founded in 1916, is a collegiate, central, and research university in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. The Central Hindu College, founded in 1898 by Indian Home Rule Leaguer and Theosophist Annie Besant, was absorbed into the university. BHU Passing Criteria

BHUU UET Examination Passing Criteria 2022-2024 To pass the UET Examination 2022-2024,

  • candidates must obtain at least 50% marks cumulatively In each subject,
  • they must obtain at least 40% marks
  • The UET Examination 2022 is conducted by Computer-Based Test (CBT).
  • The First Phase is the Objective UET Examination and the Second Phase is the Descriptive UET Examination.
  • In the First Phase, candidates will have to complete 120 Multiple Choice Questions (150) and
  • the Second Phase will have to complete 60 Multiple Choice Questions (60).
  • Candidates will have to complete 3 Essay Questions in the Second Phase.
  • Candidates who pass the UET exam 2022-2024 will be admitted to various Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs offered by the University.

Students who are dissatisfied with their term-end examination results may petition for revaluation at Banaras Hindu University. BHU gives its students the option of reevaluating theory examination papers once the results are announced. Students who intend to ask for a BHU University result revaluation must do so within 14 days of the result’s announcement.

The BHU online application form will be accessible via the BHU Student Portal. Students must submit the application form along with the specified amount of INR 1500 per course for revaluation by the deadline.   • To apply for the revaluation/retotaling process, select the ‘Apply for RV / RT’ option.

  • When the revaluation charge is successfully paid, a unique application ID is generated.
