About
The ICAI is India’s largest professional accounting organization under the control of the Ministry of corporate affairs, government of India. The ICAI was set up on July 1, 1949, as a statutory entity under the Act of the Parliament to promote, develop and regulate the profession of chartered accountancy in India. Accounting Standards and Auditing Standards are recommended to the government of India by the NFRA. The NFRA establishes the Standards of Auditing (SA) to be applied in auditing the financial statements of the government of India. The other reputed Accounting Research Bodies in India are the Institute of cost accountants of india and the universities of Delhi, Calicut and Mumbai.
The ICAI’s slogan is Ya Aeshu Suptaeshu Jagruti , which translates as “a person who is awake in those who sleep.” It is an Upanishad (Kathopanishad) quotation. Sri Aurobindo gave it to the ICAI as part of its symbol when it was founded in 1949.
Examination
You can enter the profession after finishing school (12th grade) by taking the foundation course. Alternatively, graduates can complete three years of articled assistant training in a chartered company before the final exam or after becoming an intermediate accountant or company secretary in cost management. A comprehensive 100-hour IT training and soft skills orientation program must be completed prior to writing an article. ICAI will soon introduce a new education and training curriculum that will focus more on developing higher order application, analysis and interpretation. A feature of the new system would be a mandatory interdisciplinary final-level case study that would help students integrate professional knowledge from different departments, analyze and apply it to problem solving. The program also wants to focus more on practical training.

Candidates can simply acquire the ICAI CA Foundation Result for June 2023 once it is issued by downloading it from the official website, www.icai.nic.in. Candidates must log in using their Roll Number and either their Date of Birth or Password to view their results. Follow these steps :-

Passing Marks
Candidates must achieve particular passing criteria set by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in order to pass the CA Foundation test. They must get a minimum of 40% in each course. A candidate must also obtain a minimum of 50% in the aggregate of all subjects. Meeting these passing marks in both individual subjects and the overall aggregate is required to pass the Foundation exam. However, it is critical to stay up to speed with the current guidelines and notices, as passing marks may vary depending on the exam session and ICAI policies.

What After Foundation Result ?
Once the ICAI Foundation result is declared, the institute will start the marks verification process for June 2023 session exams. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps in order to apply for verification of marks.
- Candidates should submit a handwritten request signed by them along with a demand draft.
- The ICAI CA marks verification process can take up to six to eight weeks.
- If there is any change in the marks of the candidate, the authorities will refund the money paid for verification.
- The final result of the candidates who have applied for verification will be published on the official website of ICAI.
