DFCCIL, also abbreviated as DFCIL, is a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) of the Government of India, which was established on 30 October, 2006. The purpose of DFCIL is to plan, develop, construct, maintain, and operate dedicated freight corridors in India. DFCIL is in charge of the implementation of two dedicated freight corridors (DFC) in India: the Eastern DFC or EDFC and the Western DFC or WDFC.
