Application Process
The application process for the NDA 2024 exam will begin in December 2023. The following are the step’s involved in the application process:
- Register Yourself on the UPSC website (upsc.gov.in) and create a One Time Registration (OTR) ID.

Exam Pattern
- The NDA exam is a written exam consisting of two papers:
- Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT).
- The Mathematics paper will have 120 questions of 300 marks. Each question will carry 2.5 marks. There will be negative marking of 0.83 marks for each incorrect answer.
- The GAT paper will have 150 questions of 600 marks. Each question will carry 4 marks. There will be negative marking of 1.33 marks for each incorrect answer.
- The total time duration of the exam is 5 hours.
