Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the NEST exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational qualification: Candidates must have passed the class 12th examination or equivalent from any recognized Board in India in the year 2022 or 2023 or must be appearing in the same in 2024.
- Minimum marks: Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in the class 12th examination. For candidates belonging to reserved (SC/ST/PwD) categories, the minimum requirement of marks is relaxed to 55% in aggregate.
- Age limit: General and OBC category candidates born on or after August 01, 2003, are eligible for admission to the Integrated MSc programme of NISER/CEBS. The age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST / Divyangjan candidates.
