The Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (SIST), formerly known as the Sathyabama University, is a private deemed university in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The late Jeppiaar founded it in 1987 as Sathyabama Engineering College, and it got university status in 2001. Entrance exam
For admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate programs, Sathyabama University holds an entrance exam. The Sathyabama All India Engineering admission Examination (SAEEE) is the name of the admission exam. The SAEEE is a computer-based test (CBT) that is administered in two stages. The first stage is an online screening test, followed by an on-campus interview.
The online screening test takes place in May. The exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to be answered in 180 minutes. The questions are based on the 12th grade curriculum.
