Introduction Of SRMIST University Admission
SRMIST University admission is a competitive process, and the university accepts students based on their merit and performance in the SRMJEE entrance exam. The SRMJEE is a national-level entrance exam conducted by SRMIST University for admission to its various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. To be eligible for SRMIST University admission, students must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (PCM) for undergraduate engineering programs, and 50% marks in any three subjects for undergraduate non-engineering programs. For postgraduate programs, students must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

SRMIST Scholarships
- Students are awarded the scholarships on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2. Fee waiver of 50% is offered to the students who scored above 95% in CBSE or in State Board examinations.
- The institute offers full waiver on the books, tuition, hostels & mess, plus a stipend of INR 1,000 per month to the top state, JEE, SRMEEE & AIEEE rankers, sportspersons and socio-economic disdain.
- Merit-cum-means Scholarship is also offered to the meritorious students. The institute provides a tuition fee waiver of 25% to 100% to the students who belong to the economically weaker sections based on their performance in the qualifying examination.
- Scholarships for special merits are also offered to the students who excel in a particular field. Scholarship with tuition fee waived up to 100% is offered to some of the students owning exemplary skills in literary debating, fine arts, and others.
