King George’s Medical University (KGMU) is an Indian government medical school, hospital, and university in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It was founded in 1905 as an affiliated medical school of Allahabad University. The government of Uttar Pradesh elevated it to the rank of a medical university in 2002.
