Hi there,

Sorry to say but I have really not understood the meaning of your question.

But in-case if you are looking out for the credentials of Delhi University. Let me begin by saying that Delhi is one of the oldest and leading University in India.

Anyways what I mean to say here is that, University hardly maters, what matters more is the credentials of the course, because the subject has to be industrially oriented, and the most important is the knowledge the student takes forward to the job market.
Even if the student is from the best acclaimed University with excellent grades, but when it comes to practical application, the student is a failure, then it is of no use.

Anyways cutting the long discussion short, Delhi University is an acclaimed University which is universally and industrially recognised. So any course studied under this University will guarantee results.

As such the answer to the next question, that is combination of subjects, is difficult to answer. It would depend upon what you wish to do in future.
eg. If one wishes to be a Psychologists in future, they would have to have knowledge on Sociology and logic with Psychology. So best is to think in terms of how a combination of subjects would be beneficial to make optimum use of the specialization you choose in future.

In-case you are confused, do write back what you wish to specialize in, and I can help you there to make a choice.

Wish you good luck....

Dear Gunjan,

I am very glad to see you approach CareerGuide for seeking guidance and clarifications for your career development. Let me assure that you have selected the right platform to get advice from.
I think I can guide you considering my more than 10 years of experience in counselling and industry. I appreciate your detailed query.

I would say that the validity and reputation of the degree from University of Delhi is high. So I don't feel that you should worry on that count. What I feel is that irrespective of the reputation of the degree, what gives a person a job is the skills and not just the certificate / marks statement.

Therefore I would suggest that you should concentrate more on what you have to offer to the company based on which the company will hire you. Since you are in Arts stream, there are many career options after BA which you can do. You can do MA in Mass Communication, Languages, MBA, Event Management, and what not.

What importantly depends is on what capability, interests, passion, likings you have and would want to work for years on that.

I would suggest you to undergo a psychometric test from CareerGuide.com which will exactly indicate what are your strengths, weaknesses, passion areas, likings, interests, emotional quotient, etc. Based on the result of the test, you can talk to me and then I can guide you which course and career will suit you.

Please do get back to me in case you are still wanting to ask some thing or require any more clarification or guidance. I will be very glad to help you out and see you become successful in your career.

Best wishes,
