Looks like you are interested in mastering the English Language.

As such languages do have a lot of scope in the future, depends on where and how you would like to make use of it

As an English Graduate, you have options in:

• Literary House: These are the publishing houses that requires an English graduate to help their clients while publishing a book or an article. Since many people have ideas but are not familiar with the language, your knowledge and skills may help
• Translator: A similar kind of job. Whereby there are many foreign writers who wish to make their names in an English speaking country. You could ask as a translator for them. At the sametime, there are many pageants held like Ms. India etc, A foreign national may need your help while answering the questions to the judges.
• Teaching: You could become an English teacher in school by appearing for B.eD or a professor after completing your M.ed and a masters degree. AT the same time, you could opt for private tutions or join coaching classes too.

With English as Masters, which i personally recommend for a better career, you can expect jobs in media, teaching, etc.

With English as Majors, I would sugegst you to supplement it with a foreign language as a value add.

Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, are the top courses and careers where English language command is required.
