Hello,You should always pursue what you like to do. So get going with the optometry course and BITS Pilani is amazing anyways. If you like to be in medical field leave engineering, we have enough brats which are wasted here just for the charm of a job.
Hello Dear,I will suggest you to go with your area of interest. If you are not interested in studying engineering than its of no use of continuing with the same. Its always good to study those field in which you are interested. So as you have expressed your interest in Optometry, you should go with that provided you are determined to study the Optometry. If you are not determined to study Optometery than continue with the same course.Ask yourself which course you are interested?? and than you can decide.Talking about the Scope in Optometry ,there is a tremendous scope in this field and the tag of BITS Pilani itself will open the bright doors for you. After completion of Optometry course you have options like:1.You can start your own independent eye clinic.2.Can work with Optician Showrooms,Eye Doctors, Contact lens and Opthalmic lens Industry.
