Dear Aspirant,
Being a Relationship Manager and selling insurance and other similar products does not mean you are in banking sector.
You have not mentioned your education details like your graduation or post graduation. These details are also required to properly guide you and show you the future career path.
There are many graduates and post graduates doing sales of insurance and other banking products as Relationship Manager and yes, people who have sales and marketing as their passion can only survive and progress in this profile. It appears that you are not made up for this and now feeling frustrated.
For getting into banking domain core and non core, you will have to academically study it since banking is a vast domain and it requires technical expertise. You can do a PG Diploma in Treasury Management or Bank Management or Finance & Banking while continuing your work. You can also aim for an Executive MBA in Banking and Finance since you have four years of work experience.
Doing an Executive MBA along side your current job is what I would recommend. A little perseverance and patience can definitely get you out of the frustration and stagnancy.
Best wishes
