In India, to get registered as a licensed clinical psychologist, you either need to do an M.Phil in Clinical Psychology or Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PDCP) from a RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) recognized Institution or University. The details of the recognized institutes is given on the website of RCI i.e. rehabcouncil.nic.in.
In case you want to be licensed in the area of Guidance and Counselling only, that too can be obtained by doing Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counselling from an RCI recognised Institute.
