The candidate who wish to make a career as PO in any of the Government Banks they need to give an IBPS Bank PO exam. IBPS BANK PO exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the remaining 21 Government Banks in the Country.
The IBPS PO exam is conducted in 2 levels
1. Common Written Exam (CWE)
2. Interview.
The candidates who successfully clear the CWE exams are called for the Interview. Its very much necessary to crack the Interview to become a PO in the Bank. Here are some of the tips to crack the Interview
1. Present your self very well, be confident.
2. Do a deep study about the Bank and its related various terminologies and concepts.
3. Have a good knowledge about the recent financial updates and bank updates and various new policies in Finance and Banking.
4. Have a good study of the Banking system.
5. Prepare well on the questions like-
'Introduce Your self' ; ' why we should hire you' ; ' why you want to join our bank' etc.
For GD work on your Communication Skills,Listening Skills, Leadership Qualities, Cooperation Skills, Attitude, exchange of thoughts , Knowledge about the particular subject,summarising techniques.

To prepare for the GD and Interview round you must have basic knowledge about the general banking and financial terms. The GD and interview round is taken to determine the decision making ability and the common knowledge of the candidates.
To prepare for the this final round you should read the newspaper daily. Focus on the financial and business related news. The current events in banking, insurance and changes in the interest rates in banks are important for GD and Interview.
