Hello Divyam,
It is good to know that you are a civil services aspirant. In that case you have to put in your 100% and prepare for the UPSC exams. You can attend some reputed coaching classes which will give you the necessary directions and guidance. At this juncture, my advice is that you should not opt for placement after your graduation.
Wish you Good Luck!!

Dear Divyam,
There are two ways of looking at this situation
If you are preparing to your fullest for UPSC, then taking your job would be a distraction.
The second option is taking up a job would widen your horizon and also give you a different and professional outlook towards many things.
The final call is yours.
IF you think you will not be able to balance both, then go ahead with your full fledged preparation.
Hope this helps
Happy career planning

It makes sense to enrol in a post graduate course, or find a job in an academic institution, which gives you ample access to libraries for your Civil Services exam. Enrol for the coaching classes for academics, and in some clubs or institutes which offer opportunities for personality development. It will help.
Meanwhile, do appear for the campus interviews and polish up group discussion and interview skills.
In order to post replies to the question: "I am currently pursuing BBS from DU and will be starting with my 3rd year. I am a civil services aspirant. Should I take placement from college and later think of trying for UPSC or should I prepare for the exam from now itself, dropping a job propect"
