To answer your question, both the fields are good. Deciding which one to choose depends on what is it that you want to do in life and what kind of lifestyle are you looking for.
A government job is secure, largely monotonous, fixed work hours, opportunities to get promotions are limited and tricky, career growth is unidirectional.
An MBA would lead to higher education, no guarantee of work hours, work will be dynamic, opportunities for growth are many, higher work load.
These are differences according to my personal opinion, these may be seen in different light by different people.
I would suggest you to think about both the options in terms of future growth, job security, interest, work life balance and financial stability to decide.

I think both of career options are good. But it depends on your interest that what you want to do in your life.
In which field you are more interested.
If we talk about Government Jobs, then we all know that government jobs are the best option , because it provides job securities, high salary, job comfort, pension services, & many other facilities.
So if you want a government job then you will never regret it.
You can also apply for Railway or SSC Engineers Exam.
But if we talk about MBA, then
BE + MBA is a lethal combination to have for the Corporate World.
If you want to go in pvt sector then go for MBA.But if you want o go in Govt sector then start preparing for govt. jobs.But first find your passion
