It is conducted by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research on bi yearly basis for aspirants who wants to go in research field and lectureship.
You must have post graduation degree with 55% if you are come in General/OBC category or if you are from SC or ST or PwD category then you should have atleast 50% aggregate marks.
To appear for JRF, CSIR has fixed age criteria. According to this the upper age limit to apply is 28 years. For Assistant professor this condition is not applied. There is no upper limit on age.
